During the dry season, it is impossible to farm and watering the animals proves very difficult; water from the sinkings is already lacking to meet the villagers’ everyday life needs.

The project is to build a small dam that would allow the retaining of rain water during the rain season, and the lay out irrigated small fields.

Create an artificial water basin to ensure:

- A better drinkable water supply from the wells and sinkings thanks to a better groundwater recharge, and an almost-perennial watering place for other needs (washing, etc.).  The maintaining of livestock thanks to an almost-perennial watering point.  the laying out of irrigated crops  the combat against malnutrition and starvations by developing new agricultural skills less depending on climate hazard.  the combat against desertification by reinforcing reforestation actions through the planting of trees on the banks and the installation of a tree nursery downstream.

The village of Issaogo but also the surrounding ones and the nomads who pass by Issaogo during the dry season.

Nongbzanga has defined a fair system to share the irrigated fields:
 The land chief bestows the right to distribute lands to the association Nongbzanga for rice growing and to women’s and youngster’s groups for market gardening
 The parcels will be distributed to the villagers after a public draw by lot.
